New project: OUTWEAR
Okay, sudden change of language but it's somehow easier to write in English and this blog is mainly for myself anyway, SO:
Time to start a new project/collection, this time OUTWEAR. The theme of it is all up to you, which is kinda nice since I finally have the opportunity to chose and be inspired by something I really enjoy myself, which also makes the project more fun.
The first thing I knew that I wanted to do was spring jackets, 1940s style.
Trench coats were really popular during the 1940s and since I love trench coats and I thought I'd make my own twist to it.
I have three sources of inspiration that I want to mix, the first picture is the style I get inspired from, 1940s coats:

The second is a style I love and kind of want to endeavour, kind of with the full ness of the "skirt" and shape.

And last but definitely not least, my main inspiration and head source, Pokémon.
Yes, might be kind of childish but it's was a big part of my childhood and I loved it, still do, and it's something that never gets old. As well as the new generations come and go, it always gets renewed, so therefore (in my opinion), timeless.
I've chosen six Pokémon and decided to design a jacket based on just that single Pokémon. It's something I've always wanted to do and now I finally got a chance to do it.
It was kind of hard to decide which Pokémon since there are over 700 and more to come, so I decided to keep myself to the legendary ones. (Doesn't say you guy that much, huh?)
Anyway, the ones I chose are:

Well, I've started sketching a two of them so far, but I got a few more to go !!
I never thought I'd say this but this is actually really fun, I guess chosing your own theme for the collection acutally makes it funnier to work with?
